On the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day, President Armen Sarkissian received a congratulatory message from the first president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev.

“Today your country is moving confidently on the road leading to a politically, socially and economically sustainable state. I send my warm congratulations to Armenia headed by you and wish further dynamic development and prosperity.

I am particularly glad that Nur-Sultan and Yerevan are developing efficient cooperation based on friendship and mutual understanding. I am confident that in the future too, bilateral cooperation between our countries will continue.

I wish you good health and well-being as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Armenia.”
