President Armen Sarkissian received congratulations on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day from the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

“On behalf of Kazakhstan and my own behalf I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day.

During its independence, your country has registered impressive results in statebuilding, modernization of economy, citizens’ well-being and advancement of its international standing.

I am confident that comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia, which is based on common history and good traditions of friendship of our peoples, will continue to develop dynamically in the bilateral format as well in the framework of Eurasian Economic Union.
